Posted : admin On 16.02.2020When I prayed for silence this year I meant the ex-wife “Not my computer”:cry So now I have no sound out of my computer.?:tas My sister put together this computer as she has upgraded, so pretty unfamiliar with it. And all of a sudden it has no sound coming from it.? So I have done all I can by reading similar problem posts but alas am obviously out of my league with this problem, rolleyes but promise I have given it quite a few hours of following posts and their advice:banghead I have; Connected to the Internet. Right-clicked on My Computer. Clicked Properties. Clicked on the hardware tab.
Clicked the Device Manager tab. Everything on the right hand side of the list had a + next to it except; a yellow question mark with other devices written next to it, that had a – next to it as well. Then below that was another yellow question mark. This had Multimedia Audio controller next to it and a – next to it as well. I clicked the listed device and new icons appeared on the top of the task bar. I then clicked on the properties icon and a new window opened.
I then clicked on the reinstall driver’s tab. A new window opened with the heading “ Welcome to hardware update wizard”.
I pressed for it to install, but it said that it was unable to install hardware, as the Wizard could not find the software? I then uninstalled the drivers and rebooted my computer but again I got unable to install hardware, as the Wizard could not find the software?

Prior to all this happening my computer sound was fine. The night it went silent I got a lot of Virus alert massages and so got my sister who gave me the computer to clear up any problems. Since then I have run virus scan and no viruses have been detected. I also deleted a couple of programs that I didn’t want to use at the time, but I had a Christmas drink first so I am wondering if I might have removed some thing by accident. P.S If I type DXDiag in to the run window and press Ok. This then brings up a window with various tabs on it.
When I press the sound tab then there is no information.? Just what I have written below.? Device; Name; Blank Device ID Blank Manufacturer ID; Blank Product ID: Blank Default ID; Blank Drivers Version; Blank Date; Blank WHQL logo’d; Blank Other files; Blank Provider; Blank Oh and when I go (Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/ System information) and look at Components then Sound Device then again it is Blank.?
Thanks to any body who reads this.and the above. Use Everest to get a report of your system’s hardware, OS, and drivers. Upload the report as an attachment Everest: When Everest is done scanning, click 'Report' at the top of the Everest window, click next to get to 'Report Profile', select 'Hardware related pages', click next, select 'Plain Text', click 'Finish'.
Then when it is done processing, click 'Save To File'. Save it where you want to. (I would use Desktop.) Click 'Go Advanced' in the MG reply box, scroll down a little way until you see 'Manage Attachments', click it, browse to your file, click 'Upload', and close the window.
Then submit the post. You may have to also type something in the reply box, like, 'Here's my report.' , so that it will submit. Hi DB thank you very much for taking the time to read my post, I appreciate it.
Yes, even that.* iExplorer also works great if your iPhone is Jailbroken. With AFC2 access, the app can read and write to the iOS device's real root (For advanced users only!). Internet explorer 11 for mac.

' but it just ran forever and wouldn't finish the report.? So I followed a post as I am trying to be as helpfull as I can, or be it not very well I'm afarid, and typed DXdiag in to the run box and have attached that report I'm not to sure if that helps.
