The University Teaching Hospital for Large Animals Is located in Taastrup outside Copenhagen and is a modern hospital specialized in horses receiving patients from all over Denmark. It runs a mobile unit for outpatients and a teaching unit with referred as well as specifically acquired animals for teaching purposes (cows, sheep, goats).
